A New Year
Wow. Looks like the entire holiday season flew by without a word from me. This is a bit lame and I ask for forgiveness. I can imagine that a few people out there have let someone down at some point in their lives and now have mercy on others. So if you have it, now is a good time to share. I sincerely plan to blog more frequently in the future. Getting a website into working order and making it something that lives and breathes is quite a task, I must say. I would like for all visitors out there to know that during the time I have slacked on this site I have been at work on my book, "Candy Cigarettes are Bad for You," which is in progress and quite a long-term ordeal in itself. I am also pursuing contest wins and publications. I have recently published another article online and spoke to a group of writers about the journey we are all on. I will be sharing such milestones with you as I learn how to put them on the site. Like many people out there, I am like the website, the book, and my career--in progress. It's a journey that I enjoy so much more when walking side-by-side with others who are moving in the same direction. The path seems smoother and the sun shines brighter to illuminate every success as it happens and to motivate me onward. Would you agree with this philosophy of walking together? Let me know what you think by choosing my name anywhere here and connecting to my e-mail. I am about to update the "gems," page as well, so take a look in a day or two and check it out. Then contribute. Put good things out and good things will come back to you. Have a great one.
