First Entry!
Hello and welcome to the first blog entry. I am so excited to witness the little by little, day by day progression on these pages, that I had to come say "Hi," and offer a big "Welcome," to anyone who checks out my very "in progress" site. Like all good things, it will take time to grow but I hope you will check in periodically and watch us bloom like all the colors of the rainbow. I'm sure you will be blessed as you do. So many interesting things are in store! This site and my, also in progress, memoir are the biggest things happening in my life right now, professionally.
On a personal note, my husband's grandmother just passed to the next life and we attended the burial yesterday. It was sad for those who will miss her so dearly, but also happy for her, because she is no longer ill and frail, but has a new body. It turned out to be a sweet occasion for Dan and I because we spent time with his first cousins, with whom he grew up, but has not seen a whole lot as an adult. They aren't even my blood relatives, but, now that we're home, I miss them already. Family connections are a precious thing. I say, hold one another, kiss one another, love fervently, forgive, and say "I love you," to your family every chance you get. It may be your last chance to do so for a very long time. You just never know.
